About Our Products

All our animals on the farmstead are rotationally grazed throughout the spring, summer, and fall to regularly to provide them the freshest forage, increase grass growth, regenerate the pasture, spread manure, and ensure proper pasture and livestock management. Following the rhythm of nature, we calve in early spring. Calves are raised on their dams with access to fresh grass and good quality hay from day one.

Our grass fed, grass finished herd of Angus steers are 100% soy, corn, antibiotic, vaccine, and hormone free. Always.

~ Beef is available by the 1/4, 1/2, or whole. Price list, cut sheets, and deposit/delivery information available when you contact us.

To ensure maximum animal welfare, quality, and freshness, we work in partnership with amazing local butchers to slaughter on farm and then process, cut, and wrap at their local butcher shops. All of our meat will come to you frozen for maximum freshness as soon as it is harvested.

None of our product sits in freezers waiting to be sold. You’ll taste the difference!

Fresh Heritage Vegetables & Fruit

From September to June, we offer a variety of fresh in-season fruit, vegetables, and herbs grown right here in our permaculture gardens.
We focus on producing cold-hardy, heritage varieties only (no GMO plants!), and all our produce is chemical and pesticide free. We fertilize with our own compost and organic Jadam fertilizers made right here from our own materials.

Produce is available as posted each week on our Facebook page during this season for order and delivery at the Growing From the Ground Up website.
